# BaroBuddy vs Explore Fall

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Explore Fall at none against BaroBuddy's 4. BaroBuddy's advantage is rating (4.8 vs 4.5) and ratings volume (178 vs 8). On price, review sentiment, ads and chart position there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. BaroBuddy sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $19.99 per year. Explore Fall asks for nothing beyond the download.

BaroBuddy holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: BaroBuddy has 178 ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 83% of BaroBuddy's written reviews are positive against 86% of Explore Fall's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

BaroBuddy ships an update every 9 days, Explore Fall every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
