# Gambito vs TextingGo

The clearest difference is update cadence: Gambito at every 5 days against TextingGo's fortnightly. Gambito also leads on device support (4 vs 2) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 18.6). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Gambito sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and TextingGo sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Gambito ships an update every 5 days, TextingGo fortnightly. Both last shipped on October 7, 2026.
