# Comic Dreamer vs ComicMint

The clearest difference is ads: Comic Dreamer at none against ComicMint's shown. Comic Dreamer also leads on update cadence (fortnightly vs every 2 months). ComicMint's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 26.0). On price and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Comic Dreamer sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and ComicMint sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Comic Dreamer ships an update fortnightly, ComicMint every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
