# BeatNow vs Next Set

The clearest difference is update cadence: BeatNow at every 6 days against Next Set's every 2 months. BeatNow also leads on device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 16.6). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. BeatNow sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Next Set sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $9.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

BeatNow ships an update every 6 days, Next Set every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 10, 2026 and October 1, 2026 respectively.
