# BeatNow vs Pulse

The clearest difference is update cadence: BeatNow at every 6 days against Pulse's monthly. BeatNow also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. BeatNow sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Pulse sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

BeatNow ships an update every 6 days, Pulse monthly. Both last shipped on October 31, 2026.
