# CoreNotes vs MasjidSync

The clearest difference is update cadence: MasjidSync at every 5 days against CoreNotes's fortnightly. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. CoreNotes sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and MasjidSync sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

CoreNotes ships an update fortnightly, MasjidSync every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 6, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
