Practice Lab vs PickQuest

Practice with an AI coach who listens. AI listens to your practice and coaches you in real-time. Tempo analysis, rhythm feedback, personalized practice plans, and a tuner — all on-device. WOODSHED — SMART TEMPO TRAINING Loop a tough passage and set a target tempo. Practice Lab raises the metronome only when your playing is objectively clean, and steps back if it isn't — so you always know exactly when you're ready to go faster. REAL-TIME PRACTICE ANALYSIS AI listens through your microphone and analyzes tempo consistency, rhythm accuracy, and dynamics as you play. TUNER A real-time tuner built right in, with a sharp/flat/in-tune indicator — no separate app needed. PERSONALIZED PRACTICE PLANS AI identifies your weak spots and builds focused practice routines. Spend time where it matters most. SMART METRONOME Beyond basic clicks — AI adjusts tempo gradually, adds accent patterns, and tracks your consistency over time. Control it right from your Lock Screen, Control Center, or AirPods, so your phone can stay on the music stand. PROGRESS TRACKING See your improvement over days, weeks, and months. AI celebrates milestones and adjusts goals as you grow. 100% PRIVATE — ON-DEVICE AI All AI features are powered by Apple Intelligence and run entirely on your device. Your data is never uploaded to any server, never processed in the cloud, and never shared with anyone. What happens on your device stays on your device. No account required. No sign-up. No tracking. No ads in the free tier. PREMIUM Free users get a real taste of the AI coach — a 7-day accuracy trend and one grounded coaching note every week — plus manual Woodshed practice loops.
