# Source64 vs Aego

The clearest difference is ads: Source64 at none against Aego's shown. Source64 also leads on iOS requirement (15.0 vs 18.0). Aego's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs monthly). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Source64 sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and Aego sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Source64 ships an update monthly, Aego weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 5, 2026 and September 30, 2026 respectively.
