# Bara vs Waddle

The clearest difference is ads: Waddle at none against Bara's shown. Bara's advantage is monetization model (free vs freemium) and ratings volume (61 vs 4). On price, rating, review sentiment and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Bara sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $1.49 per 7 days and Waddle sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Bara against 5.0 for Waddle. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Bara has 61 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 96% of Bara's written reviews are positive against 100% of Waddle's.

Bara ships an update every 4 days, Waddle weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 9, 2026 respectively.
