# NAV vs TapDrive

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: NAV at none against TapDrive's 1. NAV also leads on update cadence (every 2 days vs weekly) and ratings volume (5 vs 1). TapDrive's advantage is ads (none vs shown). On price, rating, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. TapDrive sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. NAV asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for NAV against 5.0 for TapDrive. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: NAV has 5 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

NAV ships an update every 2 days, TapDrive weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 31, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
