# AskBishop vs Scriptural

The clearest difference is update cadence: Scriptural at every 2 days against AskBishop's every 2 weeks. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. AskBishop sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month and Scriptural sells 9 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

AskBishop ships an update every 2 weeks, Scriptural every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on September 30, 2026 and October 3, 2026 respectively.
