# ProxyTunnel vs Pulse

The clearest difference is update cadence: Pulse at every 3 days against ProxyTunnel's every 6 weeks. ProxyTunnel's advantage is iOS requirement (16.1 vs 18.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ProxyTunnel sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and Pulse sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

ProxyTunnel ships an update every 6 weeks, Pulse every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
