# MakesSense vs Lyvox

The clearest difference is update cadence: MakesSense at every 5 days against Lyvox's every 10 days. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. MakesSense sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Lyvox sells 8 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

MakesSense ships an update every 5 days, Lyvox every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 9, 2026 respectively.
