# FitCam vs Pathcut

The clearest difference is update cadence: FitCam at every 3 days against Pathcut's every 2 weeks. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. FitCam sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days and Pathcut sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

FitCam ships an update every 3 days, Pathcut every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 5, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
