# DriveLog vs PermitLog

The clearest difference is update cadence: PermitLog at every 2 weeks against DriveLog's every 3 months. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. DriveLog sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and PermitLog sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

DriveLog ships an update every 3 months, PermitLog every 2 weeks. Both last shipped on October 31, 2026.
