# MindLumos vs Algor

The clearest difference is update cadence: Algor at every 5 days against MindLumos's every 3 weeks. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. MindLumos sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $8.99 per 7 days and Algor sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

MindLumos ships an update every 3 weeks, Algor every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 8, 2026 and October 19, 2026 respectively.
