# MIDI MACHINE vs Cesure

The clearest difference is ads: MIDI MACHINE at none against Cesure's shown. Cesure's advantage is update cadence (every 2 days vs weekly) and iOS requirement (16.0 vs 18.6). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. MIDI MACHINE sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Cesure sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

MIDI MACHINE ships an update weekly, Cesure every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 6, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
