# Merit. vs Daybreak

The clearest difference is update cadence: Merit. at every 3 days against Daybreak's every 2 weeks. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Merit. sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per month and Daybreak sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Merit. ships an update every 3 days, Daybreak every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 11, 2026 and October 19, 2026 respectively.
