# ComicInk vs ComicKit

ComicInk and ComicKit both sit at 4.9 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of ComicInk's written reviews are positive against 0% of ComicKit's. ComicInk also leads on ratings volume (30 vs 6). ComicKit's advantage is device support (4 vs 2) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ComicInk sells 3 one-off in-app purchases and ComicKit sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for ComicInk against 4.8 for ComicKit. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ComicInk has 30 ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 100% of ComicInk's written reviews are positive against 0% of ComicKit's.

ComicInk ships an update every 5 days, ComicKit weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 9, 2026 and September 30, 2026 respectively.
