# Stral vs Stepwise

The clearest difference is ads: Stral at none against Stepwise's shown. Stral also leads on device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (18.6 vs 26.5). On price, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Stral sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and Stepwise sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 3 weeks. Both last shipped on October 31, 2026.
