# Shiftario vs PayJar

The clearest difference is update cadence: PayJar at every 4 days against Shiftario's every 9 days. Shiftario's advantage is iOS requirement (13.0 vs 16.4). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Shiftario sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and PayJar sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Shiftario ships an update every 9 days, PayJar every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 6, 2026 and October 5, 2026 respectively.
