# Drop2 vs DroPilot Modes

The clearest difference is update cadence: DroPilot Modes at every 5 days against Drop2's every 4 weeks. DroPilot Modes also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Drop2 sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $8.99 per month and DroPilot Modes sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Drop2 ships an update every 4 weeks, DroPilot Modes every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 2, 2026 respectively.
