# Tomatoro vs Tomoru

The clearest difference is update cadence: Tomatoro at fortnightly against Tomoru's every 3 months. Tomatoro also leads on iOS requirement (16.6 vs 18.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Tomatoro sells 4 one-off in-app purchases and Tomoru sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Tomatoro ships an update fortnightly, Tomoru every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
