# RawProof vs Petal

The clearest difference is ads: RawProof at none against Petal's shown. RawProof also leads on update cadence (every 5 days vs every 10 days). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. RawProof sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and Petal sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

RawProof ships an update every 5 days, Petal every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
