# LockProof vs ChoreSight

The clearest difference is monetization model: ChoreSight at freemium against LockProof's subscription. ChoreSight also leads on update cadence (weekly vs every 3 weeks) and iOS requirement (17.0 vs 26.2). LockProof's advantage is ratings volume (4 vs 1). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. LockProof sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days and ChoreSight sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for LockProof against 5.0 for ChoreSight. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 4 and 1 respectively.

LockProof ships an update every 3 weeks, ChoreSight weekly. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
