# StrumForge vs Guitar triads

The clearest difference is update cadence: StrumForge at every 2 days against Guitar triads's fortnightly. StrumForge also leads on ratings volume (62 vs 3) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.6). Guitar triads's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.8). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. StrumForge sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days and Guitar triads sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Guitar triads holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: StrumForge has 62 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.

StrumForge ships an update every 2 days, Guitar triads fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on November 5, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
