# StrumForge vs Showgazed

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Showgazed at none against StrumForge's 4. StrumForge's advantage is ratings volume (58 vs 3) and update cadence (every 2 days vs every 5 days). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. StrumForge sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. Showgazed asks for nothing beyond the download.

Showgazed holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: StrumForge has 58 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.

StrumForge ships an update every 2 days, Showgazed every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
