# Smart Blocks vs SimulTap

The clearest difference is ads: SimulTap at none against Smart Blocks's shown. SimulTap also leads on update cadence (every 4 days vs every 11 days) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.0). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Smart Blocks sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and SimulTap sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Smart Blocks ships an update every 11 days, SimulTap every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
