# Cartogram vs Elyr

The clearest difference is update cadence: Elyr at every 3 days against Cartogram's every 2 weeks. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Cartogram sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Elyr sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Cartogram ships an update every 2 weeks, Elyr every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
