# Lapsed vs Cadence

The clearest difference is update cadence: Lapsed at every 2 days against Cadence's fortnightly. Lapsed also leads on iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Lapsed sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and Cadence sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $24.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Lapsed ships an update every 2 days, Cadence fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
