# Lapsed vs DayPad

The clearest difference is update cadence: Lapsed at every 2 days against DayPad's every 2 weeks. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Lapsed sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and DayPad sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Lapsed ships an update every 2 days, DayPad every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 11, 2026 and October 20, 2026 respectively.
