# ARK vs matoraVPN

The clearest difference is update cadence: matoraVPN at every 4 days against ARK's every 9 days. ARK's advantage is iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ARK sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and matoraVPN sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

ARK ships an update every 9 days, matoraVPN every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 18, 2026 respectively.
