# Mog Academy vs UMOG

The clearest difference is monetization model: Mog Academy at free with in-app purchases against UMOG's subscription. Mog Academy also leads on ratings volume (1.8K vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 18.0). UMOG's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 79%) and rating (5.0 vs 4.7). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Mog Academy sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and UMOG sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

UMOG holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Mog Academy has 1.8K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 79% of Mog Academy's written reviews are positive against 100% of UMOG's.

Mog Academy ships an update every 10 days, UMOG every 6 days. Both last shipped on November 5, 2026.
