# Tonic vs NoRot

The clearest difference is update cadence: Tonic at every 4 days against NoRot's every 2 months. Tonic also leads on ratings volume (44 vs 7) and iOS requirement (17.4 vs 26.2). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Tonic sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and NoRot sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Tonic against 4.9 for NoRot. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Tonic has 44 ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two.
