# Gen AI Developer Pro Prep vs CCAO

The clearest difference is update cadence: CCAO at every 4 days against Gen AI Developer Pro Prep's every 5 weeks. Gen AI Developer Pro Prep's advantage is device support (4 vs 2) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 18.6). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Gen AI Developer Pro Prep sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and CCAO sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Gen AI Developer Pro Prep ships an update every 5 weeks, CCAO every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
