# SetBook vs GridsDrum

The clearest difference is update cadence: GridsDrum at every 3 days against SetBook's every 5 weeks. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SetBook sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $11.95 per month and GridsDrum sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

SetBook ships an update every 5 weeks, GridsDrum every 3 days. Both last shipped on October 31, 2026.
