# Learn Vietnamese vs VietLex

The clearest difference is rating: VietLex at 5.0 against Learn Vietnamese's 4.6. VietLex also leads on update cadence (every 2 days vs every 5 days). Learn Vietnamese's advantage is ratings volume (17 vs 1) and device support (4 vs 2). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Learn Vietnamese sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and VietLex sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

VietLex holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Learn Vietnamese has 17 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Learn Vietnamese ships an update every 5 days, VietLex every 2 days. Both last shipped on October 31, 2026.
