# Hookly vs Wallby

The clearest difference is ads: Hookly at none against Wallby's shown. Hookly also leads on device support (3 vs 1). Wallby's advantage is update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months) and iOS requirement (17.0 vs 26.0). On price and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Hookly sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Wallby sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Hookly ships an update every 2 months, Wallby every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 31, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
