# StridePal vs Rolling Heart

The clearest difference is rating: StridePal at 4.9 against Rolling Heart's 3.0. StridePal also leads on review sentiment (71% vs 50%) and ratings volume (54 vs 2). Rolling Heart's advantage is update cadence (every 5 days vs monthly) and monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs paid). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. StridePal sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and Rolling Heart sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

StridePal holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: StridePal has 54 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 71% of StridePal's written reviews are positive against 50% of Rolling Heart's.

StridePal ships an update monthly, Rolling Heart every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on November 5, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
