# BrainMaxx vs Cassiel

The clearest difference is ads: Cassiel at none against BrainMaxx's shown. Cassiel also leads on update cadence (every 3 days vs weekly) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.0). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. BrainMaxx sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per 7 days and Cassiel sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $12.00 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
