# ScriptPad vs Write Korean

The clearest difference is update cadence: ScriptPad at every 10 days against Write Korean's every 4 weeks. ScriptPad also leads on iOS requirement (15.0 vs 18.6). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ScriptPad sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Write Korean sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

ScriptPad ships an update every 10 days, Write Korean every 4 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 8, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
