# Whirl vs Flixel Flipside

The clearest difference is rating: Whirl at 5.0 against Flixel Flipside's 1.0. Whirl also leads on ratings volume (11 vs 1) and iOS requirement (16.4 vs 26.6). Flixel Flipside's advantage is device support (3 vs 1). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Whirl sells 18 in-app purchases, starting at $8.99 per 7 days and Flixel Flipside sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
