# Aperi vs Fold

The clearest difference is update cadence: Fold at daily against Aperi's every 6 weeks. Fold also leads on device support (3 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Aperi sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per month and Fold sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Aperi ships an update every 6 weeks, Fold daily. Both last shipped on October 31, 2026.
