# Ponderwell vs Untangle

The clearest difference is update cadence: Untangle at daily against Ponderwell's weekly. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Ponderwell sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month and Untangle sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $14.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Ponderwell ships an update weekly, Untangle daily. The most recent releases landed on October 31, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
