# Hey vs Synq

The clearest difference is update cadence: Synq at every 6 days against Hey's every 3 weeks. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Hey sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days and Synq sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $14.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Hey ships an update every 3 weeks, Synq every 6 days. The most recent releases landed on October 2, 2026 and October 5, 2026 respectively.
