# LudyMeter vs EarRest

The clearest difference is update cadence: EarRest at every 3 days against LudyMeter's every 6 months. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. LudyMeter sells 2 one-off in-app purchases and EarRest sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

LudyMeter ships an update every 6 months, EarRest every 3 days. Both last shipped on October 31, 2026.
