# ExifGuard vs CreatorCodex

The clearest difference is update cadence: ExifGuard at weekly against CreatorCodex's every 4 weeks. ExifGuard also leads on iOS requirement (16.0 vs 26.5). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ExifGuard sells 4 one-off in-app purchases and CreatorCodex sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

ExifGuard ships an update weekly, CreatorCodex every 4 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 22, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
