# MIO Connect vs Better

The clearest difference is update cadence: Better at every 4 days against MIO Connect's every 9 days. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. MIO Connect sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $49.99 per month and Better sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

MIO Connect ships an update every 9 days, Better every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
