# Prepd vs MathMentor Pro

The clearest difference is update cadence: Prepd at every 2 weeks against MathMentor Pro's every 3 months. Prepd also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 26.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Prepd sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $39.99 per month and MathMentor Pro sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Prepd ships an update every 2 weeks, MathMentor Pro every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 3, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
