# Unpack vs Poly Flashcards

The clearest difference is update cadence: Unpack at every 3 days against Poly Flashcards's every 5 days. Poly Flashcards's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (17.0 vs 26.0). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Unpack sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Poly Flashcards sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Unpack ships an update every 3 days, Poly Flashcards every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 28, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
